During his 20-plus years in executive recruiting, Tom has provided talent for early-stage to Fortune 100 companies in industries including technology, aerospace/defense, associations, biotechnology, energy, government services and nonprofit.
Tom founded and led Cabot Consultants, a five-time Forbes Best Executive Recruiting Firm, which joined the DHR platform in 2022. Earlier in his career, Tom was a Principal with a large executive search firm and an analyst with Gartner where he was an advisor to over 200 CIOs/CTOs.
Tom is a Board Member of Sea Colony Recreation Association; IT Industry Advisor for the American Public University System; Secretary and Board Member of the Washington CTO Roundtable; and Advisory Board Member for the Washington, D.C., CIO Executive Leadership Summit.
Tom earned his Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and economics from Duke University and is an active member of Duke’s Alumni Admissions Advisory Committee.
