Succeeding with AI leveraging AWS
Artificial intelligence is all the rage these days, and we are all looking to understand how to implement AI solutions within different Cloud providers. This session covered use cases leveraging Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and other AI methods. It will also cover many of the new items recently announced by Amazon, including Bedrock.
The discussion was led by Dr. Scott Papson, a Principal Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services specializing in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Scott works with AWS partners and customers to help integrate machine learning technologies that accelerate mission impacts across diverse applications. Scott has been involved with machine learning since 2003 and has experience with many different data applications and modalities,including visible and infrared imagery, text, radar, and time-series. Scott brings a passion for applied machine learning to help his partners realize tangible benefits from the application of state-of-the-art techniques in machine learning.
Scott frequently speaks on conventional machine learning and generative AI, recently supporting AWS and partner events including the DC Summit, Partner Learning Days, Data Strategy for AI in Federal Government, defense and national security focused events, innovation forums, and technical enablement series. His narrative focuses on "speed to trusted mission value".
